Yarra Plenty Waves launches new Strategic Plan through to 2028

​

Yarra Plenty Waves is pleased to unveil the new Strategic Plan 2023-2028, which is designed to bring together all aspects of our operations and create real growth for the organisation over the next five-years. 



The new Strategic Plan is a result of considerable consultation and is designed to connect our dedicated club members, our learn to swim families and all users of our facility. 


A range of stakeholders have contributed to the development of this plan including the committee, coaching staff, our centre manager and Banyule City Council.

The Yarra River, from which our club is named, is known as Birrarung, meaning River of Mists in the language of Woiwurrung spoken by the Wurundjeri. 

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri people as the traditional custodians of this land. We respect their unique ability to care for the country and their deep spiritual connection to it. We honour Elders Past and present, who have resided in the area and who are an integral part of the region's history.
