School Sports Holiday Program
Ideal for 9-12yr olds ~ Running from 3-4pm with a total of 8 sessions these January school holidays. Head Coach Alex, will be overseeing this intensive holiday program focusing on stroke correction, race dives, race strategies including video analysis of athletes.

Yarra Plenty Waves is excited to offer non-registered swimmers the opportunity to receive quality coaching in preparation for School Swimming Sports, District Swimming Sports & beyond.
Coaching Team
Our dedicated coaching team, led by Head Coach Alex throughout the holiday program.
Alex Hirschauer has been a swim coach for 20 years & has coached multiple State & National Champions. He has twice been named as Victorian Coach of the Year. Alex is Head Coach of Yarra Plenty Waves Swim Club.
Program
The program is for competent swimmers who can swim at least 50m freestyle, 50m backstroke & 25m breaststroke. The program is not a 'learn to swim' program. The program is designed for swimmers aged 9-12 years (as at 1 January 2023)
